ATTENDANCE

  • Students must be punctual at the beginning of the day, for all the subjects, classes and activities. Attendance for morning assembly is compulsory. A student who arrives late will bring an explanatory note from the parents the next day.
  • Before taking leave, the pupil must photostat the Leave Application Page at the back of the diary and get it filled, signed by the parents/ guardian. It is mandatory to submit the leave application before hand. If a student is absent for more than three days, for reasons of ill health, a Medical Certificate from a doctor stating illness and fitness must be submitted in school.
  • Students must report punctually to the school on the school days specified in the School Calendar/E-care failing which he/she exposes himself/herself to disciplinary action. In this case parents will be asked to withdraw their ward from school.
  • All explanatory notes for absence/ late arrival should be handed over to the class teacher. No student who is late or has been absent on the previous day will be admitted to the class without the permission of the Principal.
  • Students who are late for the third time, will be sent home and considered absent.
  • Every student should be inside the campus before the first bell, failing which he/she will not be allowed in the school premises.
  • Students are not granted leave outside the vacation period. Prior permission should be sought for absence from the school for any reason known or planned in advance.
  • Students who are regularly unwell and fall short of the required 75% attendance may be asked to leave the school on grounds of physical unfitness. No leave will be granted during the examinations.
  • Students will not be allowed to leave school early unless parent / guardian send a written note to the office. Expressed permission by the Principal is necessary.
  • Attendance on the first day of the school after vacation is absolutely essential. A fine of ₹ 500.00 per day may be imposed on those absent for the first day. Those absent due to illness must inform the school either before or on the reopening day and present a Medical Certificate before they are admitted to the class. Students who do not join school on the first day are liable to forfeit their places. Re-admission may be considered. The names of pupils who remain absent without leave for SIX DAYS may be struck off the rolls. A punitive fine may be imposed on late comers as a measure of exemplary punishment.
  • GENERAL DISCIPLINE I. It is obligatory that changes in residence/office address and telephone number be communicated in writing to the school office and parent's telephone number to E-care for contact.
